  1. If you don’t stretch regularly you will definitely hurt yourself specially with the kicks. You will learn about 25 kicks before you achieve the black belt. Remember, you simply have to perfect in each and every kick in all variants to achieve greatness.
  2. Perfect your locks! After every throw, you learned in hapkido, a lock will follow immediately. So, like your kicks just polish each and every throw.
  3. Study not only in the class but at home all the pressure points on the body. This will allow you to bring enemies down lot easier than you could imagine.
  4. If you don’t perfect your starter moves, you will be never good at the advanced levels especially in hapkido.
  5. Last but not least go slow and be on the safe side. Don’t do flashy moves without knowing the basics correctly. Find a perfect teacher and start your own journey.
